Product Features

The Tako is back again as a best seller last year. This compression-molded board built for durability and speed utilizes the highly proven STEPtech (adopted from its high performance cousin, the Sweet Spot), molded into the bottom of the board for great speed down the line and release when boosting aerials and Ollies. Even larger surfers over 200 lbs can enjoy the Tako with its Wood Loc Technology for rigidity and stiffness. If you’re on a budget and want the maximum performance the Tako is for you.

Key Features of Inland Surfer Tako Wakesurfer:
  • EPS: Expanded Polystyrene: This is lightweight beaded foam used in the production of all Inland Surfer’s Epoxy Wakesurfers
  • WoodLoc: Inland Surfer’s process that inserts laminated layers of wood into the boards’ top and bottom platform, to increase strength, rigidness, stiffness and overall performance
  • Compression Edge: Compression molded construction used to create a very durable board with added edge control for beginner and intermediate riders
  • Rear Kick: EVA traction with raised rear kick pad for incredible foot hold
  • Fin Options: Number of fin options available
  • ROCKET Rocker: This profile has been designed to provide the absolute maximum down-the-line speed without sacrificing edge to edge performance
  • STEPtech: Creates a release point towards the tail of the board, as the water flows through. This means more down the line speed and better release off the wake for bigger airs
  • Ability Level: The ability level recommendation for this board is beginner to intermediate
  • Specs: 5’0” x 20” x 1” - 8 lbs lbs Tri fin option
  • Weight Range: The weight range recommendation for this board is 70 lbs to 250+ lbs depending on wake size
  • Note: Tako boards come with 1 pair of 6cm ABS Delta 4Skim fins
  • Tri fin: Beginner to intermediate surf style
  • Dual fin: Beginner to intermediate surf style feel
  • Single fin: Beginner to intermediate skim style feel
