New to the line in 2008, the Rome Strut Snowboard bindings diversifies Rome's collection of bindings that are ergonomically mapped to the shape of a woman rider. Featuring a similar asymmetrical highback profile to the Madison, the Strut delivers power where you load energy into a board and comfort where our calf muscle contours. Rome technology like the powerful underwrap heel hoop and the customizing ConFormist toe strap comes standard.

Key Features of The Rome Strut Women's Snowboard Bindings:
  • Highback Rotation: Through two highback mounting holes and three heel hoop mounting positions, Rome highback rotate in 12 degrees to the outside and 12 degree to the inside. This is a critical customization technology that allows riders to target support and power according to their individual style. Most bindings don't have it.
  • New ConFormist.2 Toe Strap: Available on all Rome's bindings. ConFormist Toe strap features self-molded technology that can be ride over the top of the boot, or over the toe of the boot, lower profile and more formfitting to all boot brands than "cap" straps.
  • Multiple strap positions: On both toe straps and ankle straps, SDS bindings feature multiple mounting positions that are independent of highback mountain holes. With three holes on both sides of the heel hoop, nine configurations per ankle strap let riders control the level of toeside and side to side support.
  • Boot Centering: The three position adjustability of the Underwrap Heel Hoop ensures that your boot is centered on both the midline of the baseplate. This is key for balanced toeside and heelside performance, and unavailable on unibody bindings.
  • Forward Lean: Starting at zero and ramping up to high angles, all Rome bindings feature a full range of tool free forward lean customization. For rails and boxes, zero degree angles are key for riders like Max and Yan to have the freedom to use their ankles to control the board and add style by ensuring minimal engagement from the highback.
  • 4 x 4 Disc Stance Width Adjustment: Simply better than mounting systems that use three holes. For customizing something as critical as your stance width, 4 x 4 provides drastically more mounting positions in far smaller increments.
  • Quickstrap 2 Technology: Centering your ankle strap on your boots is as simple as flipping a lever, sliding the strap, and closing the lever. More fine tunable than traditional screw based system due to the smaller distance between adjustment position.
  • PF.2 Ankle Strap with Form Fitting Gel
  • SF Glass-filled Baseplate: Short fiber of glass are integrated with nylons to match up nose to tail binding flex with the inherent feeling of snowboarding - one where you can move sufficiently side to side to feel the terrain, adjust a take off, or lock into a nosepress.
  • SubBase Padding: Allows the baseplate to a flex a microscopic amount side to side for an added level of Progressive flex in the complete binding system
  • 3 piece InBase Padding
  • New Underwrap 2 heel Hoop: The defining element that differentiates Rome's power from all other bindings, The design house uses light weight aluminum and wraps it under the baseplate in the toe strap region to increase leverage over both the heelside and toeside edges. Different coring pattern control different levels of lightness.
  • Strut Highback with extensive coring
  • Toe Ramp: For power over the toeside edge. Rome's tool free toe ramp lets you place a subtle amount of rise under the toe spring of your boot.
